4 candles Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 (edited) Guys, I need a reliable dep for a function gig on New Year's Eve. 2013 high end 8 piece function/covers band. 60's to present day classic tracks You will need to be able to read charts and a full bass pad will be available. Very high standard of musicians so consider this a pro gig please, certainly no bedroom players! Gig is well paid and hassle free. Gig is in Harrogate. Up north! If you are interested, Please PM me and we can discuss in further details Regards Mark Edited October 24, 2013 by 4 candles Quote
4 candles Posted October 4, 2013 Author Posted October 4, 2013 Apologies Harrogate is only up north, from my perspective! Sorry for my geographical prejudice Mark Quote
4 candles Posted October 18, 2013 Author Posted October 18, 2013 Gig sorted thanks guys. Ambient, it appears that some of the keys on your keyboard are stuck! Never presume anything, just be a little more patient! I would have let you know if you hadn't closed our topic down! Your correct, I was advertising for a professional dep. which is why you were not considered. Some advice.... Professional means more than just getting paid, attitude is a very important aspect. Bassman Rich Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Follow up to NYE The bassist was pretty ropey, spent all night reading from his song cribsheets, and whilst not playing too many bum notes, it was a very poor facsimilie of the songs, kinda like he'd never heard them before, with no feel or emotion, just the right note according to what was written in front of him. I hope to never have to dance to his lacklustre basslines again!! Venue and band remain unnamed to protect the guilty, but pm me with why I should tell you, if you really must know the gory details .
