neepheid
The BC collective would need much more info to say with any certainty I reckon. Close ups of headstock, neck, body, bridge, pickups, the body binding and all that jazz.

martthebass
From the pic it seems authentic enough, but yup would need some clearer ones to determine whether it was really a pucker 1973 4001 in Azureglo.

Dave Vader
Definitely a fake, send it to me, and I'll burn it for you. Really, I'm doing you a favour
4000
It's not a '73. Fat horns, 1" neck high gain; more likely between '75 and '80. If you find out what the serial number is, the first letter tells you what year. I had a '76 that looked the same. 4000
Like I said before, somewhere between '75 and '80; looks exactly like my old '76. The serial number should be on the jackplate, something like PE123. Edited October 8, 2013 by 4000
4000
In fact looking closer it looks almost exactly like my old '76, even down to the crack in the pick guard that happened after I sold it! Whoever told you it's a '73 is very wrong. Edited October 8, 2013 by 4000
3below
Looks very similar to a 77 blue one I had around that time. Binding still fixed firmly? No paint sinkage?
