now SOLD

For sale, my recently acquired MIK Squier P bass. I am a bit gutted as I love the look and tone of this thing, and it is completely sorted, but I just can't get on with the 41mm nut. I find I can play nicely on anything up to 40mm nut width, but anything more and my fluidity is definitely compromised.
I so wanted this to work out, but I have to admit that it won't. Am selling it to get a narrower nutted P.

Anyway, it's a Samick-factory-made 1991 Squier precision. Gorgeous neck, tone and looks.
Schaller-licensed tuners (original). The necks on these are known as being particularly excellent. A relatively light bass. I'd guess 8lbs or thereabouts. A completely sorted instrument. I have adjusted the intonation, pickup height, action, filed nut slots and taken down a couple of higher frets. Plays real nice now.

A player's bass. Buy this to gig it and enjoy ! Whoever gets this will not be disappointed.

£115 collection from the Southampton area. Or £130 couriered within mainland UK.

Would you consider shipping yet please? It's dead easy, I used to avoid it but don't now.

thanks

I have two basses for sale currently and only one set of boxes and packing. As I can only courier one, it would be the other bass, as this Squier should be more saleable locally. However, if the other bass sells locally I am more than happy to send the Squier with a courier. I will edit the thread if that happens (and also let youknow via PM, Pestie).
