RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I keep thinking of jarre waiting for Cousteau . Will put it on my iPhone tonight . Anybody else ? Quote
Dood Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Yes, my mate came round yesterday and urged that we listen to Opeth. Since then I've had in the back of my mind to load on Ghost Reveries. Funnily you should mention JMJ though, as I have an Equinoxe sticker right here that I took off my old laptop. So Jarre will probably get a listen too. Especially anything with Guy Delacroix playing bass. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 Opeth are a strange band. I like the frontman. , very dry humour . Have a couple ofp3's . 1 good, 1 terrible IMHO . Want to see them again. Quote
sykilz Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Yeah, Scorpions Love at first sting album, listened to it non stop back in the mid eighties, haven't listened to it for ? 20 years ?, then just grabbed it this morning and shoved it in the car. And to my old jaded ears, it's still bloody marvellous. Quote
Spike Vincent Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Put an album on your phone? Is that a new Dial-a-disc service? Quote

sprocketflup Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Been revisiting some early iron Maiden lately, Killers etc Quote
JapanAxe Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Listened to Iggy Pop's 'The Idiot' on my drive home this afternoon, for the first time in a long while. I'm a huge Bowie fan, but Iggy's version of China Girl urinates all over Bowie's from a great height! Quote
bertbass Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Moontan - Golden Earring. Just felt the need. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 Due to a raging headache, I will listen to jarre tonight ( I hate this humid weather/oppressive 'office'!!) Quote
Horizontalste Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Not by any means old but the most played album on my phone lately is The Horrible Crowes Live at the Troubadour. Great songwriting. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 Still haven't listened to jarre yet. Tomorrow definitely. How hard can it be ? The track I wanna listen to is the last one on the album. (It is about 50+ mins tho') Quote
Lfalex v1.1 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Might have to listen to JMJ's Aero DVD-A now. It's in lossless 5.1, too. Just reading the liner notes... Quote
