Tom's 'Seasons' Bass

Hi all

Now, I'm no BC Rich fan, but Tom Araya's bass in the Seasons in the Abyss video just about has to be 'the' definitive metal bass (imho of course), far too metal for me ever to be able to carry off but I'd love to know what it is. Of course, it may sound like crap because you can't hear the bass in much of Slayers stuff.

Doesn't seem to look quite like any other BC Rich so I suspect it's probably a custom, but hey, anybody know what it is?

I can't watch the video (I'm at work) but Tom used to play a BC Rich Wave bass, and a Hill custom, before switching to ESPs.

looks like wave to me

I think you are right about it being a wave body. Has a different head stock though. Much prefer the look of this to the ESP signature model.
