Has anyone used a MXR MC-402 pedal?!

Hi, I've been using my EQ pedal to provide the boost to my sound but now want to use that pedal more for tone than volume so looking for a boost pedal (any excuse to but new gear!).

I've been looking at the MC-402 as it's a boost pedal and overdrive in one! This would work perfect on my board and save some space!

Reviews appear to be good, just wondering if there is any advice out there?!
