Can't watch as I'm at work but Frank Marino was actually a huge early influence on my bass playing. His speed and fluidity really registered with me and were things I really wanted to incorporate into my playing.

Love frank marino, but if I ever get the chance I'm going smash that bloody chorus pedal he uses on every solo ever with a rock

Saw him at Port Vale 1981. One of the greats. Love his use of harmony. Canadian Rock, err, rocks!

Saw him live about 10 or 12 years ago, he managed to play about 4 songs in his 45 minute allocation ;)

Yep - a few years ago I watched the Support Band, then lasted for 2 of his songs before I went home.

Also saw him at the odeon back in the 80s :o the place was not full by any means but he played for over
2 hours and the song that moved me most was Poppy, stunning playing with heavy jazz influences.
