willyf87
Does anyone know whether you can create a patch using two/three effects then merge those effects into one so it takes up one slot out of three rather than a whole patch? Does that make sense? I just acquired one and haven't had a massive amount of time to play with it properly. Am impressed with it so far....never will I have to buy any modulation!! discreet
I'm pretty sure this is not possible, but Dood is the B3 expert on here, so maybe he can help you.
willyf87
i didn't think it was either to be honest, think thats why the ms60b came out!
bartelby
No, you can't merge effects into one slot. There are Dual Effects though near the end of the list
willyf87
Thanks, for the replies, think I may invest in an extra footswitch to bypass effects. i was worrying about having three effects on then having to switch them all off at once, footswitch looks the cheapest option unless anyone can build one for less than 20 quid. bartelby
have a neutral patch set up and then have the B3 in Patch Switch mode (hold left hand foot switch down). Then you can switch in and out of the effects patch.

bartelby
Probably should clarify. E.G. Set up say patch A0 to have no FX and A1 to have the 3 FXs running. Hold the left button down to get to the patch mode. then use the middle and right footswitches to move between A0 and A1. I did set up my B3 so alternate patches were either FX or no FX then you could hit either UP or DOWN to get to a neutal patch. willyf87
that is a good idea, only problem I can see is that the bypass to patch switching isn't instant.
