dannybuoy
Could be good! http://www.ehx.com/products/crying-bass Edited October 11, 2013 by dannybuoy
woodyratm
I don't think these would work on pedalboards?
dannybuoy
You'd be right. I put wah first in line usually off the board anyway so it's ideal for me (if it sounds good). Looks like it has a fixed lowpass filter in parallel with the wah, which is exactly how I set up my Wahoo, but simpler and pressure activated. Could be a winner! There's a few more pedals too: http://www.ehx.com/products/od-glove http://www.ehx.com/products/east-river-drive http://www.ehx.com/products/hot-tubes-nano Edited October 11, 2013 by dannybuoy
dudewheresmybass
I tried the east river drive on Monday along with a couple of other pedals. The east river dropped loads of low end, but had a quite pleasant character, so blending would probably work quite well. I ended up buying the hot tubes nano. Lovely valvey fuzzy grit. Covers ground that my vmt and b3k can't. It has a switch to bypass the tone stack. It brought the pedal to life for me. For the princely sum o £49- a real winner! The bass wah looks very interesting. Id love to give that a whirl! Edited October 12, 2013 by dudewheresmybass
paul_5
Pffft. I already made a wah with a LPF on board. Don't look like that though...
iamtheelvy
The sound samples I've heard are pretty good, but can't get on with a wah with no way of attaching it to a board...

Sean
Anyone got any real world experience of these? Any feedback?
dannybuoy
Yes, it was the worst wah I have ever used! Couldn't get a smooth action out of it, had a rather sharp transition, and just didn't sound very good in general.
Sean
I've just received an Ibanez Weeping Demon and it's the best pedal I've ever used.
dannybuoy
Always wanted to try one, but went down the G-Lab route as I needed true bypass - I run it into a TAFM which sounds best with an unbuffered signal going in.
