This is the very first version of the Danelectro Transparent Overdrive, that was based on Paul Cochrane's Timmy overdrive, apparently. You can check online, lots of videos and discussion about this, and the reason many suspect the v2 of the Danelectro pedal came out so quickly with a slightly different sound. I don't really know...

What I know:

Transparent Overdrive is a good way to call this pedal. It really is transparent. It is designed for guitar, where it excels, but works really well on bass. It has a dual band EQ, which makes it really easy to adjust the tone to have just however much bottom end you want..

Low gain to pretty high gain sounds. At its lowest setting, there is no distortion. I bought this to have a bit of clean boost and very very low gain sounds. It works pretty well.

Metal casing, blue led. BLUE LED!!! Everybody knows the best pedals have a blue led

It has a bit of velcro on the bottom, really good condition.
