Annoying Twit Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Can I make a request for examples of fills? I am tending to fall into a trap of using the same fill all the time, and would like to be able to include more variety. Quote
ambient Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Variations on that fill ? Rhythmic variations, miss notes out, play some as quarter notes, 16th notes etc instead of what you already do. Different articulation, slur from one note to the next, or slide. Maybe reverse the order of some of the notes ? Basically use your fill as a spring board to create new ones. Transcribe fills you like on records ? Quote
