merlin Posted October 12, 2013 Share Posted October 12, 2013 Hi I have a Hartke 3500 used it for ever,its done close to 60 gigs since April,now it needs some of the controls put back on the front,twit head here has managed to snap off the three controlls,left side of amp,plus thinking its in need of a check over.Anyone know of a repair shop?South of England way...or do I just buy a new one? would it be cheeper.. RandomBass Posted October 13, 2013 Share Posted October 13, 2013 When you say snapped off the three controls to the left, do you you mean the Pre Amp A & B and Compressor knobs? Is it just the plastic knobs that are missing - the metal pot shafts are still in place and can be rotated by hand? If so, should be able to locate some suitable replacements knobs from somewhere online. As for servicing, have a look in the Repairs & Technical section on here, I believe there is a pinned thread containing known repair techs. RandomBass Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 Ouch. Assuming they are metal shafts that must have taken some doing. They are probably soldered into a pcb which can be a nuisance.
