Talbo Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Tokai "Jazz Sound" built circa 1984. Fantastic instrument, very similar to Fender's 60's reissue model. Tokai were the company that effectively made Japanese fenders for time. So you are getting an 80's Fender Jazz for a third of the price!!!. Set up and plays beautifully. Brand new D'Addario strings. I haven't seen another Tok of the same age color and condition. Its a rare beastie. . Comes with soft bag Reluctant sale!
BassBus Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013
...especially of the headstock?
Hutton Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Is there a problem with asking for a pic of the headstock?
BassBus Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Not at all, that's why I repeated it. From that angle it doesn't look like an 80's headstock.
Hutton Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Sorry man. I misinterpreted your post. The head looks like the later type which came in round about 1985. I couldn't make out if it was the earlier or later headstock.
BassBus Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 No problems. I couldn't remember when the altered head came in. My Jazz Sound is from '84 and has the Fender head and I had just been playing it when I looked at the post. Destiny? Lovely looking bass anyway so there's a few bumps for you Talbo.
