i thought i might start a thread. its of a genre that im sure is familiar with alot of us. well Pete has his funk groove nonsense.! i thought i might start it off with a band called Player. would love to hear some of the stuff people know, as im not really a rock specialist. you could say this is my way of wanting to listen to more.

Baby Come Back -- great tune, great simple groove. (THe drummer provides most of the feel IMO). The bassist was actually just a hobbyist musician who went on to star in the American soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. .
