Detuner advice please - which is the right one?

I have a Peavey Zephyr bass and with its 35" scale length I'm thinking of fitting a detuner to the bottom string. Thing is, I've never done this before. So two questions really: Which is the correct on to 'match' what is there, and secondly is fitting them a simple process?
