Traded my EMG P/J set for this Wizard Thumper P and 84 J. While I like the J, I'm not keen on the tone of the Thumper.

I would describe the sound as slightly rolled off highs and boosted mids, so it's well named.

Would only consider a trade for an original Fender '62 re-issue precision pickup or something that sounds more or less exactly like it, like a seymour duncan SPB-1. That traditional 'hollow grind' precision sound.

Cash value £35 inc postage.

Will get a pic up later.

I've got a pickup from a classic 50s precision that I might be interested in trading -? Think they're used in some custom shop models

Thanks Lojo - thought I was first there ...

@shark finger - scooped out - the bass doc said it was quite like a 62 after he fitted it

Geek99 does indeed have first dibs. However, having messed about several times with this bass I don't want to take any chances. TBH, I took a chance on the Wizard P and it didn't work out so if I'm going to trade then it's got to be for one of the two pickups I've listed only. Other than that, just cash.

Thanks for understanding.

Geek, I've just sent you a pm, bad wording on my part , I meant first dibs to buy, if your trade didn't offer didn't come off , certainly didn't intend to step on your toes
