KevG Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Looks like we may have a chance to play at this next year. Has anyone played there before? It's all a bit new to us, so how do we get gear across and travel, any tips or help really appreciated!! Thanks. Quote
gjones Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 If your're on a stage, Backline will be provided. Just book a plane. Sometimes it's safer to book a seat for your bass as well, as baggage handlers have no respect for musical instruments. If you're playing in a pub or smaller venue, where backline isn't provided, then you'll have to hire a van to lug yourself and your gear over there. Have fun. Quote
mSz Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Nice, It's a very beautiful part of Poland. I guess the most convenient would be to take a flight to Warsaw and then hire a van to get to Suwalki. It will take around 4 hours. Quote
peteb Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Sounds cool. Poland is a great place to visit. BTW - what band are you playing with?? Quote
KevG Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 We're called J9 Blues. Normally we play in pubs in North Herts so this may be a bit of an excursion if it comes off! Quote
