joegarcia
Featuring the DHA PB-2 and lots of mistakes from me. :-) Was a bit of a weird set as we usually play with another guitarist and the on-stage sound was very weird. I could hear a really big delay between the kick drum in the monitor and the one behind me which didn't help. Anyway, enough excuses. beerdragon
Thats an unusual style of playing joegarcia how did that come about?
alexclaber
Come on BBC, sort out your streaming, this is killing me! The video has progressed sufficiently far for me to comment on your impressive hair... Alex
joegarcia
Hehe, thanks. The hair comes and goes as it pleases. I play like that as I have wonky arms and can't move them round palm up. It's the only way I can play so I just get on with it. Yea, sorry about the rubbish streaming, it's really temperamental it seems.
slaphappygarry
Nice one. You look comfortable with that style of playing so it clearly works for you. Looks like a sweet gig to get too G
beerdragon
Whoa! didn't realise who her parents were!.
alexclaber
Interesting - like if a folk singer's daughter turned to the dark side and Black Sabbath. You were right about the gurning! I presume your style has developed round your technique so you really focus on playing the essential notes as twiddly stuff is technically more challenging - I'm forever fighting the battle against excess notes but I seem to be losing... Big sound, lots of atmosphere. Very cool to have played Glastonbury, I must do that someday! Alex
DrGonzo
Hey-o Joe. Bez from The Brickyard here... I don't think I was doin sound when you guys played up Carlisle, but I do seem to remember some kind of bizarre drunken conversation about bass and distortion... apologies for being a drunken lout, but nevermind. Say Hi to Rose when you see er. This is weird - now officially at least three members of this ere board have I met at some point without ever realising it!
