linson86
Howard Cowart who played bass on ''Grease'', really knew this stuff, and was one of the best and most in-demand bass players in the business in the 70s and 80s. Not only did he play on the Frankie Valli title song, but also on classics like Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's ''Islands in the Stream'', Barbra Streisand's ''Woman in Love'', Brook Benton’s “Rainy Night in Georgia'', as well as performing on records by such legends as Aretha Franklin, The Bee Gees, Fats Domino, The Young Rascals, King Curtis, Wilson Pickett, Jay Ferguson, and Andy Gibb, among others. He died in 2010 but his legacy lives on through his music. Edited January 24, 2023 by linson86
