I have no experience of either, but I have bought from Thomann on many occasions. Their service is excellent.
This doesn't answer your question at all, does it? :D

I've dealt with both Richtone and GAK and would recommend both of them.

Any information is good information anyway ;)

I've had enough incidents of GAK misrepresenting their stock on their website and then downright lying over the phone that I won't be using them again. I've had nothing but good experiences with Richtone though.

I ordered a bass combo from GAK which came with a US kettle lead, however, I have loads of these leads so it wasn't a problem. They sent me a replacement the very next day though.

Used GAK a few times, but these days i seem to use Gear4Music most of the time.
Thomanns are also a good bet but dont seem quite as cheap for the widely available items these days.

Ok experiences with GAK - two orders, one good, one bad. To be fair to them the bad experience was a faulty product which was returned and promptly refunded.

I can strongly recommend PMT based on my experience dealing with their team in Birmingham. Called their web team at the weekend with an enquiry, the number actually pushed through to the Birmingham store where The chap (Steve?) processed my order and threw in a free set-up and Saturday delivery.

I'd go with this.
I have always found their service first rate including after sales.
30 day no quibble return policy and 3 years warranty on everything.
Their policy is that the customer is always right, even if he's wrong.

Not much cop if you don't want to use them though.

+1 about Thomann: I've ordered from them tons of stuff. I've eventually got something DOA but after dealing with the customer care they got it back but they took a while to solve the issue.
They also have killer prices on most of the bass stuff (expecially on G&K) while their Ashdown products are overpriced.
Shipping is €20 even if you order an 8x10" - a nice plus.
