This is one of the original release but they have reintroduced it since. If Warwick as a brand are a bit Marmite then the NM is like peanut butter and Marmite combined!

As Warwickhunt says. They do pop up now and again and that price is quite reasonable to what I've seen them go for in the past.

I owned one of these in the late 90s. Quite heavy for a headless but still a great sound. Sold it for a pittance compared to the prices they are going for now.

The tuners are a major design flaw - put the bass down without its special stand and, at the least it will go out of tune, but more likely you will bend/break the tuners. It's no surprise to find that this was one of the first Warwick designs and that the designer did not play bass.

The "gauze" beneath the bridge is the residue of the glue that would have held a plate with the serial number on:

It's a piss-poor piece of design even by Warwick standards... ;-)
