Nice P basses. I think the tort suits that bass more than any other.

Thanks, I can never understand why sunburst and tort is disliked by so many people, but hey! each to their own, lol 🙂

I know.

They're not exactly sophisticated bass lines but they'll be a real test of my stamina.  Getting that much drive into my groove may prove a challenge but it's definitely one worth tackling.  It's harder than it looks.

153 consecutive C-notes over the solo does require an odd mix of concentration and groove... and then if you don't hit that little run down everyone is going to notice 🙂

There's not too many photos of me around - I prefer to be taking the photo rather than be in it; but here's a recent shot I took during my daily walk.  Lockdown finds me a bit stranded in Weston-Super-Mare as I am renting a place down here while working in Bristol and that's where I was when lockdown called so not able to go home to the Midlands.  Still, trying to make the best of it by sending photos back to my Wife detailing the torrid time I'm having down here...

Here's me from a few years ago playing a show with my old ska band, The Mighty Shrimp. I'll try and get a slightly updated one as well, but not a lot has changed! Same bass, amp and cab (directly behind me), hat, jacket and boots. Hell, I still have those jeans as well! Except the current ska band is Ska Dogs, so bigger, land-dwelling creature with fewer legs.

This is me playing with my main band. I don't look anything like this anymore since I went 'Lockdown Crazy' and grew a beard and cut off all my hair.

It's okay, I may look like a psycho but I don't like liver or fava beans
