These are great basses. I like them so much that I have three :)

This one was bought from here. I originally got it to try out the pups and then bought another. I love the sound both active and passive but three similar basses seems a bit excessive and I prefer my blue colouor to the black one.

This one plays really nicely and sounds awsome. It is very powerful thanks to the awesome EMG's and 3 band electronics.

The bass has issues as someone has clattered the control knobs against something, which has resulted in a lacquer cracks around the tone knobs. This didn't really show up in the pics or from a distance but they are prominent close up.
Another problem was highlighted when I bought the guitar, as two of the machine head blades could touch each other. That is because two had been replaced in the past and although they look the same they are a fraction bigger than the rest. Swapping them around has cured that problem so its no longer an issue.

So there you have it, an extremely sweet sounding and powerful bass, with quality componants, build and an ebony fretbourd for a bargain price. There are still a few of these going new for the £650+ mark new so £200 sounds like a lot of bass for the money.

I will post in the UK at buyers cost

Just South of Bristol

Will consider trades for a 5 with money in either direction, looking for something with a complementary sound

I keep reminding myself it's got too many strings...

At that price, surely you could forget such a minor flaw? :)

Think of the B as a thumb rest and your sorted. It almost plays alike a 4 anyway :)
