Advice needed for GB Streamliner & Rack Mounted Tuner

Recommended Posts

Just got a GB Streamliner & am wondering about putting a small rack unit together.

I fancy getting a Rack Mounted Tuner & have noticed that Korg are to shortly release the Pitchblack Pro:

Anyone got any advice on a Tuner or even an effects unit that houses a Tuner? Also wondering what type of Rack to go for.

Cheers!

I've not owned one, but Boschma rack cases seem to be well regarded.

Used to have a Thom (by thomann) rack case. Handles are finger snappingly awkward and very uncomfortable if there's any weight in there. I would strongly suggest avoiding them. It's a shame really as they're strong enough to withstand a nuclear blast!

SKB cases get a lot of love but can be tricky to get hold of.

Gator cases are comfortable to carry, even with a Marshall 9100 power amp in, but always gave the impression of being a little flimsy.

Thats my £0.02.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies y'all :) I'll have a look into those.

As an option, I think the Streamliner is half rack size. Anyone know of a half rack size tuner or effects unit that carries a tuner?
