Anyone attending Sorefingers bluegrass tuition weekend (25-27 Oct)?

I am not attending but have been in the past a couple of times and had so much fun. Met some amazing musicians and would recommend highly. Its hard work and the late night jams are a real blast. Have fun Clarkie, I am very jealous.

Cheers! Looking forward but also a bit trepidatious as I know zip all theory and not that much more about bluegrass (although my band plays several blugrass-type songs)

I knew nothing about it ... not that I'd have been able to join you anyway.

If you'd invited me.

Which you didn't.

But I'm not offended.

Oh no ... not me, sir.

I am trying to spot a particle of remorse or regret ...

I bet there's still a spare place on DB course Jack if you are seriously interested but would have to be quick, as its starts Friday late afternoon

I would dearly love to mate, but I have my son's 18th on Friday (oh joy! oh rapture unforeseen!), a Halloween gig on Saturday, and first rehearsal with the Karena Kelly Band on Sunday.

There comes a point when even an Urban Spaceman such as me needs to recognise that he's burning the candle in altogether too many places.

I wish I could attend but work takes me away over half term :-(

Mrs PTB took her fiddle there a few years ago and had a great time. Darryl Scott was one of the tutors that year along with Ron Block from Alison Krauss' band and Casey Driessen so it was a great line up. I'm sure you'll have a ball & look forward to hearing all about it.
