Gypie Mayo - RIP

Just seen that the wonderful Gypie Mayo has died. Replaced Wilko in Dr Feelgood and put in a brilliant performance on the BBC Sight and Sound soon after joining.

Sad news.

My favorite DF album is actually 'Be Seeing You', the 1st one they made with Gypie after Wilko left. I love the Wilko albums, but I think Gypie's arrival gave them a real punky kick on that one.

What a shame .. I remember seeing Dr Feelgood play She's A Windup on TV when I was 16 , blew me away , loved it from that day to this . God Bless Gypie .
