All the basses below can be posted, but I prefer collection wherever possible. That allows 'try before you buy' and the chance for a cuppa or a bevvy while we're at it.

I'm in Chiswick (W4 4BN), about two minutes from the roundabout. I accept cash, but you can always talk to me about cowrie shells and coloured beads. If you think it will get you anywhere, that is.

Each bass comes in a good-quality padded gig-bag, will have a strap, and is guaranteed ready-to-play with no issues / problems / worries. If you collect, you get to choose which gig-bag and which strap.

If you'd prefer a hard case, I have a couple of decent ones I can let go. Hard cases are NOT included in any prices below.

You may notice that I'm not the world's best photographer. If you need more/better photos of any of these, let me know and I'll get my son to take them - at 12 he's way better than I'll ever be!

My photo-links have clearly failed the intelligence test, so I've inserted a few random photos to whet your appetite. If you'd like a proper set of photos for any of these basses, PM me and I'll clog your in-box for several hours.

OK - here we go:

Lovely example of one of the rarest Bass Collections. Very high quality, light weight, great 'mwah' factor, rich honey colour. This is being kept off my playing rack by a Ricky 4001 Fretless. The previous owner fitted a brass "slap plate" at the top of the fretboard; not my sort of thing, but actually looks pretty good.

Some of the bass players I know are much better than me, and treat their basses in odd and unusual ways. According to them, this bass is jolly good for a bit of slap & tickle, but sometimes it goes "pop". I think that's what they said, anyway.

Like all the SGC Nanyo BC's, this is a very high quality, light weight bass, not to be confused with the many inferior copies that have appeared over the last 10 years.

Now here's a clever piece of kit. If you're not familiar with this bass, it's essentially a 'stick' into which you can slot lightweight extension bars to create the outline of a bass. It has an on-board pre-amp with a headphone socket, so you can play it anywhere without disturbing the neighbours. There's also a standard jack socket so you can play through an amp.

This is NOT the Fender/Dearmond re-make, this is the original Guild Ashbory from the mid-80's in lovely condition, and a bit of a collectible. This sort of thing either floats your boat ... or it doesn't.
slight problem with your image host... I can only see an image of the travel bass... and to peruse your album, apparently, I'm expected to create a snapfish account...
Thanks Paul - problem not fixed, as such, but hopefully a bit improved.
