stingrayfan
Hi Alz Welcome here and welcome back to the UK, when you come. You'll find despite the smoking ban etc, live music's and gigging's pretty good at the moment. What's the gigging scene like in Dubai? Good places to play? Great Circle of friends, musicians Lifestyle (Sun, Sand, Shopping (if that's your thing!)) Drive a dirty big Range Rover 4.6 (Petrol at 90p a gallon for Super Unleaded!) Opportunites to visit and gig in Oman, Kenya, Jordan Cons No corporate work in the summer months (hence my return to the UK) No work at all during Ramadan (Live music is banned) Cost of living - SCANDALOUS (Have wife and 3 kids, whatever I make goes out the next day) No benefits - You have to pay for everything - Residency Visa, Healthcare, Education etc etc. Summer months are impossible to bear.....up to 49 degrees!!!!!!! 90% Humidity!!!!!!!!! Any more questions? Keep them coming!!!

steve-soar
I love that Lakki in your pic. Burgandy Mist is the best colour for Fenderesque basses, IMO.
