norvegicusbass Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 What do you reckon is the best looking bass on the market? Not talking about tone or ease of playing or cost just a flat out " that is a beautiful looking bass" kind of thing Quote
leroydiamond Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) Sadowsky make beautiful looking basses. Here's an example and the link http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/6496.html Edited October 24, 2013 by leroydiamond Quote

Twigman Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 For me, at the moment, as I posted yesterday it has got to be the Eastwood Airline Map34 bass.......it looks amazing! to me Quote

Roger2611 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I love the look of a Stingray 4 in white with a maple neck....it's just a shame I don't like the sound of them Quote
Ziphoblat Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 The limited edition Warwick basses can look really sleek (and some are shockingly gross too). I love the Corvette they did with a poplar top and gloss finish. Also have a soft spot for a 70's Jazz with a matching headstock. Quote
paulconnolly Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Dingwall Lee Sklar model is just doing it for me every time, or possibly the Gus G4 or G5. Total bass porn Quote
Dingus Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 One thing I have learnt from internet forums is just how surprising other people's idea of" beautiful "can be compared to my own ( superior) taste. I love vintage Fenders in sunburst, though I doubt I will ever buy another nowadays . Quote

leschirons Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I'd definately go for this bass. I can't explain why, there's something about it that just really appeals to me. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 There are too many to choose from Quote

steve-bbb Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 i love the look of warwicks especially black ones in a darkened room Quote

For me, a vintage P bass in sunburst is the most vanilla/magnolia/boring looking bass ever. For me, in terms of looks it's like buying a tesco value bass. Quote
