Sometimes I like music because it generates some sort of emotional response inside of me. Sometimes it is because the lyrics are like great poetry. Sometimes it is because the music is technically intersting in parts, or whole. Some music has all of these. Some has combinations of these. Some of these hold different weights for different people. If a song satisfies at least one of the above for me then I'll keep listening.

The value of music is definitely in the ear of the beholder.

This is the first time I've heard of this band. I'll go against the grain and say I liked it. I didn't think about it too much and just enjoyed it.
