Warmoth Parts

Does anyone have any experience with the Warmoth necks and bodies? I really fancy a rear routed PJ P-Bass 5er, basically the Duff Mckagan Signature model but with another string.

Getting a full custom build is a bit (lot!) out of my budget and Warmoth do a P-Bass 5 Deluxe body for about $200 plus shipping. So $400 plus shipping for the woodwork and then the hardware, some of which I already have seems a better budget than getting someone to make me what I want.

Though I do fancy the Shuker Build-a-Bass week course, just to make me save up some more :)

Edited for spelling :P

I've had two tele bass necks from them and various bits of hardware. Not cheap, but then the product is pretty much spot on and the custom options are great. Even things that aren't listed on the website can be accommodated. Great communication as well and the guys there seem to know there stuff. I used to go on the unofficialwarmoth forums for loads of good info and watching the latest builds peopel were doing.

Also, sorry for pedant alert, but it's not Warmouth, it's Warmoth. Pedant alert off :)

warmoth.com is my favourite idle-time bass-porn site, love faffing about with the build options. I had warmoth Explorer bass, and the quality of fit and finish was exemplary.

One day I'm gonna sort out a nice light PJ...
