Nick Riffed
It was mainly due to Phil Lynott that I missed out on the Punk era. Not that I'm too upset by that. I just got into it much later......a bit...sort of. I spent a fair bit of the 70's listening to what I still consider to be one of the most underrated bands ever. Thin Lizzy. I happened to dig out the Live and Dangerous CD earlier today and the combination of Lynott on bass and Downey on drums is still a force to be reckoned with. In the middle of 'Emerald' a thought crept into my head. Do any other bass players have statues erected, for want of a better phrase, to them. Nick Riffed
The only thing with that is it's of the whole band and not just Macca. Any other individual erections? Edited October 26, 2013 by Nick Riffed

krispn
It's my old '78 p bass which was used in the statue with Phil - the work was done in Belfast at the Guitar Emporium to make a mock up of his bass before bronzing!
