I've had the considerable pleasure of playing this beaut. It's as good as it looks.

Also, I travel about a fair bit in the South and Southeast. So I'd be pleased to act as courier for if anyone wants a personal FOC delivery for cash on delivery.

That said, Gary is a top-man. Trusted totally.

Cheers

Richard

Can you tell me whose name is in the neck pocket please?
[/quote]

Just gone through all my pics and typically I haven't got one of the pocket with neck removed.

In the 9th pic down on my ad you can see the name HERB G on the back of the neck.

Not sure if there would be a name in the pocket but I can find out.

Thanks for the interest.

Thanks for that. My friend worked at Fender in 1975 and was hoping his stamp would have been in there, I can see from your pic that it isn't. It is still astonishing though. Even my wife thinks it is wonderful looking :)

All right, all right. You're just showing off! Humph! Kids these days... grumble, grumble....

In 1975 I was leaving school and it was about then that I "lifted" my first bass from under my bro's bed. It was one he'd borrowed from a mate. Well... it was doing nothing thing. It was feeling neglected. It was nothing compared to Gary's Fender.
