I've just picked up a fabulous Genz Benz Contour 500 210T Combo [url="http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&mid=2862&sid=705&cid=95"]http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&mid=2862&sid=705&cid=95[/url] I'd like to use it with a home-made extension cab with an Eminence Delta 15LFA speaker (500W at 8ohms). Will I blow it/them/myself up if I use them together? I've been a diehard "combo only" guy for 25 years, so the thought of lashing two things together to amplify a Bass is a dstrange and foreign country to me... Cheers in advance Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Sounds fine to me, I presume its about 325 watts at 8 ohm (combo only) and 500 watts at 4 ohm which you will be running at with that 8 ohm 15 inch cab. Don't use a 4 ohm cab as an extension cab though! Can you unplug the built in cab on them? Quote

stingrayPete1977 Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I'm presuming it says minimum 4 ohm load on the panel next to the speaker sockets then, does it have two sockets or does the extension speaker need plugging in to the speakers connection plate? Quote
