What happened to the 'visual fail' then?

Sold my Berg CN212 and looking to get something more suitable to sit underneath. Favourite runners at the moment are Berg NV115 or HD210, but I need to try with the head before I buy.

I spotted this excellent cab for sale.. And at 61cm wide I'm sure the head would sit on it nicely :) ;)

Haha, I'm sure it's a great cab, but not my style I'm afraid.

You mention a custom casing? What about it is custom?
Nothing, it was a response to OBBM's joke about using a chain saw to trim it to fit my cab! :)

When is the CTM100 due for you then? If it is anything like my CTM300, it will be awesome! Looking forward to seeing your video review of it!
I had hoped it would be here Friday, but probably next week now as the bank messed up the transfer :(

Is there much difference between the 300 and 100 beyond power?

Exactly the same features, just power/weight difference.

Did the CTM ever arrive Gareth. Quite interested in one myself... Missing my Little Bastard terribly
Yes indeed it did, but it's at Ashdown right now having a full check up (the bias system wasn't working correctly on one side).

Thanks. Do you know the distance between the feet centres?

I can measure next time I get to my amp (it's in the band's van at the mo!) but they are slightly wider than a Super Compact so at a guess about 47cm :)

Whats the verdict on the CTM 100 in terms of volume? I'm wondering if it will be loud enough to hold up against two noisy geetards and heavy hitting drummer? (gas build up pending!). I'd be running it with two abm neo 210s. Ta

Oh sh*t never measured the feet. Will get on that!

Volume - make sure you have sensitive cabs and you'll be fine. I have been too loud with one Barefaced Super Compact (1x12) but mine ally gig with 2 for extra air movement etc. Maybe sometimes I'd like a bit more clean headroom but it's honestly fantastic and works in my loud 2 geetards & drums gig fine. Fills the stage beautifully :)

I picked up a CTM 100 yesterday, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the volume it does produce when hooked up to my Genz 2x10 cab. I had a short rehearsal with my 60s trio and found there was enough power on tap. As long as I kept most of the mids in (which I do anyway) it sits in our mix very nicely! I think you'll probably be fine with two guitarists, especially if you have Pa support too..
