Mr. Foxen
These guys are in Nottingham http://www.chambonino.com/
He's good, but don't bring it to him with nice vintage valves in it. Also think he is semi retired and might only do stuff if he feels inclined. If you can go as far as Sheffield, take it to BCer Umph.
IanA
I know someone around North Leicester if that is of any use?
joeystrange
Try Hot Rox in Nottingham. http://www.hotroxuk.com/ I've never had to get an amp fixed there myself but they've been good to a lot of friends over the years. Or, if you happen to be making a trip down South at any point soon, take it straight to Marshall in Milton Keynes. Mr. Foxen
Or, if you happen to be making a trip down South at any point soon, take it straight to Marshall in Milton Keynes.
Had a chap bring me his 'all valve' marshall, but it was one of those JVM410H ridiculous complication jobs. Something wrong on the input section but so much density of components no way of finding what it was. I checked all the valves, power ones all fine, few dud pres, but swapping in good ones didn't fix. So he took it to Marshall, who found the dud thing that made it not work and replaced, that's fine, £30 job. His bill also included a full set of new power valves at retail price.
