I never thought I'd see the day that I'd part with this lovely example, but after a great deal of deliberation, I've decided that the narrower neck and more versatile P/J pickup configuration of my Ibanez SR800 makes it the go-to bass at the moment. I bought this beauty from fellow BC'er, Greyparrot. He described it as one of the best Precisions he's ever owned and I'd have to concur. He can be seen playing it here

Made in 1990 in Japan, it has a real feel of quality and character about it. I'd easily put it on par with my old CIJ Fender P. Weight is around 8.5 / 9 lbs. The dark rosewood fretboard is 40mm wide at the nut with a standard 19mm spacing at the bridge. Pick-ups are the Fender '62' Precision and all cavities have been shielded with copper foil. Currently strung with roundwound strings.

It has a 'Fender' decal on the headstock produced by Rob at Guitar Decals. I took a long time over refinishing the headstock and the results speak for themselves. That is the original serial number.

I did get Rob to reproduce the original decals and these will be included in the sale along with the original white pickguard

A couple of tiny marks, otherwise in excellent condition for a 23 year old instrument.

I've checked with interparcel and ipost parcels. You are looking at around £40 - £45 to ship to Denmark (unless anyone knows of a cheaper way)

Ah man, that's lovely and you're only up the road from me...- any interest in trades at all (assuming not from the member status, but might as well ask ;))?
