basshead56
Hey guys and girls, Not sure if this is the right section, but I have lost the key to my Fender G & G case (and I never had the spare!!!) and trapped inside is my beloved Siennabust 78 P Bass which i am hoping to use when I do a reunion gig with my old band! The case is from around 2002 or so if I remember correctly. I have heard G & G keys are all the same, so if that's the case... Does anyone here have a key they can mail to me for a weekend to get the bugger open - (I'm home in Ireland next week for a bit) Promise I'll send it straight back, along with my eternal gratitude (Check my feedback if you need reassuring) Cheers Colin Edited October 28, 2013 by basshead56

wateroftyne
They're pretty easy to open without breaking the lock if you have a poke around.

basshead56
Resolved. A paper clip and a few minutes of jiggling and she's open. No more locking my cases if they aren't in transit!!! Thanks all!

jazzyvee
I've had that problem with my strat hard case and decided to stop locking it and got myself a lockable luggage strap that has a combination lock and put that round the middle instead. It now goes round my flight cases when I'm using them and with the lock under the handle its safe from being knocked about. Similar to this one Jazzyvee
