Trade Value: £1500

Very recently purchased this and John (Warwickhunt)'s Streamer Stage I with the intention of keeping one and selling the other. Turns out, I love both of them and want to justify keeping both, however the Red suits me more and I think I may let this one go if someone more appreciative wants it!

It's a 1984 Warwick Streamer bass. It's in great condition for it's age, bit of discolouration on the bridge, no real dings to mention in the body and the neck is smooth and fault free. Bass has been waxed and cleaned since the pics below, looking lovely :). No issues to speak of and plays with a low action, frets have plenty of life, neck is straight and true. It weighs a remarkably light 7lb 9oz, largely owing to its very thin cherry body. It's a wonderful piece of history and a great bass. It pre-dates the 'Licensed by Spector' truss and control covers. I believe the year could be 1983 or 1984, but it was sold to me as 84 so that will do :). 114th Streamer ever made. All original as far as I know, with exception to pickup screws (replaced as old one were knarled up) and truss rod cover screws (ones in pictures below have now been replaced with period correct gold screws). EMG pickups and preamp, sounds great with no problems whatsoever. Comes in a non-original hardcase.

Looking for £1250. Trade value probably looking more like £1500. Interested in Warwicks (SSII, Thumb, Dolphin), unlikely to consider anything else but try me.

Still a feeler, could be withdrawn by the weekend, but I'd rather be sensible here :)

To clarify a few points, it is a Wenge/cherry NT with Cherry wings and Wenge fretboard. Original brass nut and Schaller 3D bridge. I have actually need told it is probably a 1983 from the serial, but I don't really know either way :) there were about 350 or so of these basses built, the later ones having licensed by Spector all over them.
