A great band with a really talented line up, Peter's gold plated guitar was such an icon. Not a great week music.

I played in the support band for the Climax Blues Band a number of years ago. The whole band were really friendly and took the time to praise each of us personally.

One of the best gigs I ever went to was to see Jeff Beck at the Hammersmith Odeon during the 80s, on the There & Back tour. Who were support? None other than the Climax Blues Band. If I'd've left after their set I'd've been well pleased, Mr Beck was the spectacular icing on an already very good cake. Half way through a song they segued into Hi Hi Silver Lining and back again, brilliantly comic. They should've been bigger.
