Owen Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I need one of these to fill a hole in one of my basses. Does anyone know where I can get a plain cover? I do not need anything in it, it is just a plug for a hole. TIA Quote
ikay Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 How about contacting a UK pickup maker such as Aaron Armstrong? He does a lot of custom pickups. Give him the dimensions and see if he has a soapbar type casing that might work. http://www.armstrongpickups.co.uk/ Quote
Owen Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 Thanks for the suggestion, sadly Aaron cannot do one Quote
dincz Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 (edited) If you're really stuck, you could order it from Slovakia http://www.electrosonic.szm.com/html/mm.htm Edited November 15, 2013 by dincz Quote
Owen Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 dincz, I would be more than happy to order it from Slovakia. Sadly, my language skills do not extend beyond Welsh and English. I have emailed him in English (guessing that his Welsh might not be great!) and hope that he will be cool with that. Thanks for the tip Quote
Beer of the Bass Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Mojo in the States have them, with no holes but the usual ears. Their minimum order and shipping charges make them a pain in the bum when ordering small items from the UK though. Thanks for the tip
Good luck. If necessary, I could e-mail or phone him with my elementary Czech - a lot closer than Welsh Quote
