Beautiful DB playing from Charlie Haden ('Beyond the Missouri Sky')

I bought the Charlie Haden and Pat Metheny album 'Beyond the Missouri Sky' over a decade ago and loved it. I then completely forgot about it. Now that I am more DB-focused I chased it down again and wow what stunning, sensitive playing by Charlie Haden. No pyrotechnics just solid support play and some tasteful solos. Thoroughly recommended. Here's a couple of tracks (the second is the wonderful Morricone theme tune to Cinema Paradiso)

I've recently been listening to 'Life Between The Exit Signs' by Keith Jarrett. I absolutely love the combination of Charlie Haden with Paul Motian and I think it was Jarrett who first got them together.
