Kick Drum in this song ?

I'm struggling to hear if there's any Kick drum on the first part of this Stylistics song, after the intro where the bass comes in on the 1 - 3+ - + bit.

Cheers for that Bud. I have a little Bose table top thingy in the practice room so subtle things like that don't come over.

I find that headphones help a lot when transcribing tricky or indistinct parts.

Yeah, you're right Bud.
The one's I have at the moment aren't any better than than the Bose for picking stuff out.....however, there's a pair of Phil Jones' finest on the xmas pezzie list.
