Replacement Truss rod cover?

Hello, I've been trying to find where I can get a truss rod cover for my Fretless Overwater. I managed to break mine but I don't think it was the original cover anyway. The Pick up covers are in Ebony and I think that would look better on the truss cover. All my searches come up with branded or custom stuff and most from abroad. Is there no one in the uk who can sort me out with a plain Ebony truss cover?

I'd get in touch with Overwater. They provided a replacement cover for my Original.

You might need to pay if you want them to make you a custom wooden one though...

[/quote] I had the bass in there for a refurb a while ago and it took ages, I don't think Chris and the lads would cut me a cover before the end of the century but I'll send an email anyway...ta.

Jimmy Moon in Glasgow will make you one no problem. Superb luthier...and fast.

I would probably have a go at making one,it can be as simple or ornate as you wish, can't be too difficult on something that size.
