JapanAxe Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I can vouch for the quality and reliability of these DAWs. I am still using my DPS16 and getting great results.
mcnach Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I had one of these!!! I still remember: I paid £811 for it, back in 2001. Really cool unit!

mcnach Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 yeah, and I thought it was a great price, considering I paid nearly £500 for my tascam 424 (tape 4-track in 1994!) My unit had a slightly larger drive, 8Gb, which seemed like a whole universe back in those days.

[/quote] The original versions had a Zip/Jaz drive I think, there was also a more elegant silver version in the latter days of production. They still have great audio quality for the money. I wouldn't mind the 16 track version if I could get it cheap enough of course.
