dannybuoy
I bought this on a whim to replace my old VT Bass but soon came to the realisation that I want to run other pedals after it, so I won't even use the DI output! It's only been tested for about half an hour at home then put back in it's tin. £200 delivered to your door! Sold! Corvine
Hey, just wondering, what exactly does the 'bite' button do? And the other button to the right of it with the speaker symbol on it?
dannybuoy
The speaker sim button turns off the speaker sim which is basically just a high-end roll off. To be used when you're using it with a real cab and want to hear it's natural high end roll off instead of the one in the pedal. The bite button adds a boost to the high mids and also a sub sonic filter to remove ultra low frequencies the speaker can't produce. The regular VT Bass (v2) has these speaker sim and bite buttons combined into one button, whereas the DI version just splits them into two.
