Another too good to be true gumtree ad?

Recently bought a bass from eBay , the next day I saw the same bass, in fact the identical ad including serial number and pics on gumtree on the other side of the country and for half the price.

Careful out there ......

Yeah.. I'm pretty sure it's the bass from a previous ad and it was bought between three for a band.. I think he's looking for a quick sale to finance another purchase. Don't shoot the messenge! Just trying to make the whole world use Musicmans..

This reminds me of the time I found a Modulus Flea '97 on Gumtree for £400. I e-mailed the seller to say your instrument is worth circa £1200. Smelled a fake. He said he needed to shift it quick. Either stolen or total BS. Gumtree a no for me.

No chance. Seller contacted me. Can buy it using PayPal , pay zone but not real money!
Not possible to meet.
ie send money and wait for delivery ......or not!

As expected, good its so cheap really,if it was a bit more with a real phone number and a good story I could see someone getting stung.
