Flatwound Strings - NOW SOLD £10

Hi

I bought this set of Flats from a B'Chatter, strung them up on a Fender P-Bass and then realised immediatly that they were too heavy. So. they've been cut but they will fit any standard Fender bass.

I'd hate to see then just sit there but I won't use them. £10 plus a couple of quid for postage, just so I can buy a couple of pints at the next gig.. :-)

Gauge is .055 to .105 - Medium

So are they classes as heavy gauge? Excuse my ignorance! How old are they?

They're brand new except they've been out the packet and put on a bass for 5 mins. The basschatter I bought them off had bought too many sets and when I saw that they were 'Medium' I figured they'd be ok. I guess it's the difference across brands but .055 to .105 is much heavier than my 40-100's.
