Ovnilab review the original version very highly, stating ... "I rated the original one very very highly because it was built like a tank, and had clean tone with no losses, smooth natural action, and very little noise" and I have to agree it's a fine compressor. Uses the standard boss-type PSU, or a battery. This compressor works superbly with passive pickups. However, over the last few weeks I have fallen in love with EMG pickups and I am finding I just don't need or want compression with EMGs. So if you want this nice, simple, high quality compressor, it's yours for £60 posted within the UK. Probably the last of it's kind in as new condition, I'd guess.
