2010 US Std Jazz, has the newer Hi mass bridge. The screws sit proud of the barrels and shred my right hand whilst playing.

Im looking at ordering some shorter ones that would sit "inside" the barrel rather than poke out at the top.

Could some kind person let me know what diameter these are. Im looking at getting ones that are 8mm long. Also, do the thread pitches vary?

Any idea where I can get such items?

Thanks

[/quote] Can you not rub them down with a small bit of emery paper or something?

I would shim the neck. I've just done this on my guitarists Telecaster when I installed GraphTech Saddles which had longer screws. A couple of thin card strips at the bridge end of the neck pocket worked an absolute treat.
